PLDT HS Hitters win PVL on Tour title after four-year journey

PLDT High Speed Hitters celebrated their championship win in the PVL on Tour after a four-year journey filled with coaching changes and significant roster adjustments.

The team's success is attributed to key players like Filipino-Canadian Savi Davison, who joined PLDT two years ago and became an integral part of the squad, and current captain Kath Arado.

PLDT's victory marks the culmination of their dream since joining the league in 2019, with recent additions including Mika Reyes, Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, Kim Fajardo, and Savi Davison.

The team will aim to maintain its unbeaten record when they face ZUS Coffee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Japanese guest team Kobe Shinwa University (2-1) aims to secure a spot in the finals by taking on Cignal (1-3) earlier that day at 4 p.m.
