Cayetano dismisses reenacted 2021 budget concerns

Senator Pia Cayetano dismissed concerns about a reenacted 2021 budget during a Senate committee hearing on October 9.

Cayetano, sister of House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, urged fellow senators not to discuss the possibility of a reenacted budget, stating that there would be no such budget and it fuels political tensions.

She emphasized that both she and President Duterte's close associate Senator Bong Go are aware of the commitment made by the Speaker of the House regarding no reenacted budget.
