Philippines gets 15K second doses of Sputnik V

On Wednesday night, the Philippines received another 15,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines produced by Russia's Gamaleya Research Institute.

The second batch arrived on Qatar Airways flight QR928 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 around 9:37 p.m.

These 15,000 doses serve as the follow-up dose for the initial 15,000 doses delivered earlier in May.

According to FDA Director General Eric Domingo, these vaccines must be stored at a temperature not exceeding -18°C and are only fit for use for six months.
