Philippines logs 6,630 new COVID-19 cases from June 5–11

The Philippines recorded 6,630 new COVID-19 cases from June 5 to June 11, marking a 27% decrease compared to the previous week.

The daily average of infections for this period was 947, down from 1,301 in the prior week.

Of these cases, 112 were classified as severe or critical, representing an increase but still lower than recent weeks.

Five deaths related to COVID-19 were reported during this period, none occurring within the last week.

ICU bed utilization decreased from 18.9% to 17.7%, while non-ICU bed usage dropped slightly from 23% to 19.5%.

As of June 4, the country's total COVID-19 caseload stood at 4,155,758 with 4,078,516 recoveries and 66,481 deaths.
