Philippines logs 2,726 new COVID-19 cases from Mar 21-27

The Philippines recorded 2,726 new COVID-19 cases from March 21 to March 27, a decrease of 24% compared to the previous week.

As of Sunday, the active case count decreased to 41,846 with 330 new infections reported on Monday.

The nationwide tally now stands at 3,677,376 cases, with recoveries reaching 3,575,141 and deaths totaling 59,015.

NCR had the most cases in the past two weeks (1,801), followed by Region 4-A (735) and Region 6 (587).

ICU bed utilization was at 24.64%, while non-ICU beds for COVID-19 patients were 15.1% occupied.
