Gov’t doubles NCR, C. Luzon, Calabarzon isolation centers

The government plans to double the number of isolation facilities in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon as these regions are placed under modified enhanced community quarantine.

Currently, there are 1,700 hotel rooms serving as isolation centers, with 1,400 already occupied. The goal is to increase this to 3,000 by the end of August.

Additionally, the Department of Public Works and Highways will open an extra 3,000 beds in Heal as One Centers across Metro Manila, Region III, and Region IV-A, bringing the total isolation beds to 6,000.
