DOH: New recruits to help tired health workers rest

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire reminded doctors on Friday to fulfill their oath to serve during the pandemic.

Vergeire assured rural health physicians that the government would protect them if deployed to areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases.

The DOH is recruiting around 10,000 new healthcare workers so exhausted frontliners can rest, as Metro Manila and nearby provinces are under a modified enhanced community quarantine until August 18.
