PH eyes local vaccine production with SII

The Philippines is negotiating with the Serum Institute of India (SII) to study the possibility of local vaccine production.

Galvez, who recently returned from India where he signed a deal for 30 million Novavax doses, said the country can learn from SII's success in producing vaccines locally.

SII has offered to help the Philippines revive its capability to produce its own vaccines.
