Philippines extends travel ban but allows repatriated Filipinos home

The Philippine government has extended a travel ban on passengers coming from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, and Oman until June 30.

However, Filipinos who are part of government repatriation programs or recruitment agencies cleared by the Bureau of Quarantine will still be allowed to return home subject to testing and quarantine protocols.

The ban aims to prevent the spread of the Delta variant in the Philippines.
