DOH reports four more Delta variant cases

The Department of Health (DOH) reported four additional cases of the Delta variant on Monday, bringing the total number of Delta cases in the Philippines to 17.

Three of the new cases are returning overseas Filipinos from the MV Eastern Hope ship docked in South Korea who tested positive and were repatriated back to the Philippines on June 3.

Two of these patients have completed their isolation and been discharged, while one is still hospitalized.

The fourth case is a returning migrant worker from Saudi Arabia who arrived in Manila on May 24 and has since recovered.
