Pagdanganan, Ardina golf; Sarno weightlifting in Paris Olympics

Three Filipino athletes will compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics this week, including golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina who continue their campaigns in the women's individual stroke event.

Vanessa Sarno joins them as she competes in the women's 71kg weightlifting event on Saturday, while John Ceniza registered a DNF in the men's 61kg event and Elreen Ando finished sixth in the women's 59kg class.

Pagdanganan is currently at T6 and Ardina at T36 in the golf leaderboard with the tournament to be held until Saturday, while Petecio has secured a bronze medal by reaching the semifinals against Poland’s Julia Szeremeta.
