Philippine cities declare health breaks for students, teachers

Several cities in the Philippines, including San Juan, Pasay, Marikina, Antipolo, and Manila, have announced health breaks for students and teachers due to rising COVID-19 cases.

San Juan suspended classes from January 15 to 22, while Pasay imposed a similar break from January 15 to 22.

Marikina declared an academic health break from January 17 to 29 in response to high infection rates among students and staff.

Antipolo announced the suspension of classes from January 17 to 29, both for physical and virtual learning.

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno declared a health break from January 14 to 21 to reduce anxiety levels and allow recovery time.
