Marcos: PH won't reach 70M vaccinations by year-end

Senator Imee Marcos does not believe that the Philippines will reach its target of vaccinating 70 million people by the end of the year.

Marcos stated that it would be fortunate to achieve only 2 to 3 million vaccinations by year-end, reacting to vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.'s goal of inoculating 50 to 70 million Filipinos this year.

She emphasized that even healthcare workers estimate it could take between 20-44 years to fully vaccinate the population and achieve herd immunity.
