Philippines falls short on COVID-19 vaccines for healthcare workers

As of Wednesday, only 30 percent of the required doses have arrived for vaccinating 1.7 million healthcare workers.

The DOH reported that over 500,000 people had received their first dose as of March 23, accounting for 62% of the initial allocated doses.

By Tuesday, around 408,995 health workers were vaccinated, representing 24 percent of the total targeted healthcare workers.

As of Monday, over 336,000 health workers had received a coronavirus vaccine with almost all doses distributed to vaccination sites.
