PH gets 609K Pfizer doses, stockpile above 50M

The Philippines has received an additional 609,570 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine doses, bringing the total stockpile above 50 million doses.

Dr. Teodoro Herbosa assured that this supply is sufficient to vaccinate all health care workers and meet the target of fully vaccinating at least half of the population by year-end.

As of November 17, over 32.2 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated, with the government aiming for a three-day national vaccination drive from November 29 to December 1 to boost inoculation rates.
