PH Covid-19 recoveries rise to 512K

The Philippines reported 412 more recoveries on Thursday, bringing the country's total to 512,375 recoveries.

New confirmed cases rose by 1,744 while the death toll increased by 96.

Active cases stand at 31,115 with about 85.6 percent being mild and 2.5 percent in critical condition.

The DOH noted a plateau in case numbers despite some areas seeing an increase, attributing this to improved management of the pandemic.

Five duplicate cases were removed from the total count while 68 previously tagged recoveries were reclassified as deaths.
