2,633 confirmed cases; hospitals near capacity

As of Thursday, April 2, the Department of Health (DOH) reported a total of 2,633 confirmed cases of an infectious disease across various hospitals in the Philippines.

The DOH also stated that there are currently 1,154 patients under investigation and 6,321 persons under monitoring.

At least four hospitals—St. Luke's Medical Center Quezon City, St. Luke's Medical Center Global City, The Medical City in Pasig City, and the Makati Medical Center—are already at maximum capacity.

The data also includes several facilities with cases marked for validation, totaling 1,603 pending cases.

Southern Philippines Medical Center (Davao City) has the highest number of confirmed cases at 34, while several facilities have only one confirmed case each.
