PH coronavirus cases hit 13,777

As of May 23, the Philippines has recorded 13,777 confirmed coronavirus cases with 6 new deaths and 85 recoveries.

The DOH reported 180 new cases on Saturday, with 114 from Metro Manila.

Total active cases stand at 9,737, while recoveries have reached 3,177 and fatalities are now at 863.

Health officials are considering a 'zoning' method to enforce quarantine measures as the modified enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and Luzon ends on June 1.
