PH considers unvaxxed entry with long quarantines

The Philippine government is considering allowing unvaccinated travelers entry with longer quarantines while fully vaccinated individuals from visa-free countries can enter starting February 10.

Tourists and returning Filipinos who are fully vaccinated no longer need to undergo mandatory quarantine but must present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours before departure.

The Department of Tourism expects the reopening to restore jobs lost and businesses closed during the pandemic, particularly in tourism-dependent communities.
