PH health workers to get vaccines Feb 20

Health workers from four major government hospitals in Metro Manila will be the first to receive coronavirus vaccines this month.

The Philippine General Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, East Avenue Medical Center, and Dr. Jose Natalio Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center are prioritized for inoculation.

Vaccination will commence two to three days after the arrival of the first batch on February 20th, according to vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III emphasized that all staff members in these hospitals, not just health workers, will be vaccinated to ensure institutional safety.
