PDEA: PHP60.13B drugs seized, 29K villages drug-cleared

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported on Friday that the Marcos administration's anti-drug campaign has seized PHP60.13 billion worth of narcotics from July 2022 to April 2025.

Seizures included 7,782.26 kg of shabu, 89.32 kg of cocaine, and other drugs.

During the same period, PDEA conducted over 107,000 operations resulting in the arrest of nearly 145,000 drug suspects, including high-value targets.

The agency also dismantled 1,439 drug dens and four clandestine shabu laboratories.

As of now, 29,408 out of 42,000 villages have been declared drug-cleared with more in progress.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reiterated his pledge to continue a bloodless anti-narcotics drive during his State of the Nation Address last year.
