PCG delivers Japan’s gear for Mindoro oil spill cleanup

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) delivered 5.1 tons of equipment donated by Japan's Disaster Response team to aid in the oil spill cleanup efforts in Oriental Mindoro.

The equipment includes protective gear and supplies such as workwear, masks, gloves, boots, oil blotters, and oil snares.

Japan's support also includes an eight-man JDR team that arrived last Friday to assist with disaster surveys and provide guidance on the removal and control of the oil leak.
