PAOCC seeks Interpol blue notice for dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo

The Philippine government has informed Interpol about the case of dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, who allegedly fled the country last month.

Senator Risa Hontiveros announced that Guo's and her siblings' passports have been reported to the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime and Interpol for appropriate action.

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) is applying for a blue notice from Interpol against Guo, seeking additional information about her identity and activities in relation to criminal investigations.

Guo is reportedly still at Batam Island in Indonesia, and PAOCC plans to intensify surveillance efforts with the help of Indonesian authorities once the blue notice is issued.

The PAOCC aims to bring back Guo to face human trafficking and tax evasion complaints before the Department of Justice and uncover her local and foreign criminal networks.
