PAO, NBI launch joint probe into Cebu hazing death

The Public Attorney's Office and the National Bureau of Investigation Region 7 have launched a joint investigation into the hazing death of University of Cebu student Ronnel Baguio in December.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla ordered the NBI to investigate the case after learning about another hazing-related death involving the same fraternity as Salilig's case.

The PAO and NBI consider Baguio's death a priority case, conducting thorough investigations alongside the Philippine National Police.
