POC assigns Panlilio to lead vaccine procurement for SEAG athletes

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham Tolentino has assigned first vice president Al Panlilio to lead the task force on vaccine procurement for national athletes competing in the Hanoi Southeast Asian Games.

The POC will use a $40,000 subsidy from the Olympic Council of Asia to procure vaccines, allowing athletes to train with less fear of infection.

Panlilio emphasized the importance of inoculating athletes for both physical and psychological well-being, enabling them to focus on their preparations.
