Palace urges Filipinos to get Covid-19 boosters despite declining cases

Malacaŋang on Tuesday encouraged eligible Filipinos to get coronavirus disease (Covid-19) booster shots despite the decline in Covid-19 cases.

Acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles noted that while around 33.5 million individuals are qualified for a booster shot, only 9.7 million have received it, urging the remaining 23 million to get vaccinated to protect themselves against the virus.

Nograles emphasized that even with decreasing cases, skipping the booster shot exposes individuals to risk.
