Malacañang urges Filipinos to remain vigilant amid eased restrictions

Malacañang officials are urging Filipinos to remain vigilant and act responsibly despite the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea emphasized the importance of continuing social distancing, mask-wearing, and hand hygiene to prevent further spread of the virus.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque also encouraged the public to live with the pandemic while protecting vulnerable populations like the elderly and pregnant women.

Roque stated that the government will expand its test, trace, and treat program to help manage the ongoing threat of COVID-19.
