Filipinos returning from abroad must quarantine while awaiting test results

Filipinos returning from non-essential overseas trips must now undergo quarantine at government-designated facilities while awaiting their COVID-19 test results, according to Malacañang.

President Duterte advised Filipinos to strictly follow conditions for non-essential travel abroad, including submitting confirmed round-trip tickets and having adequate health insurance.

The Inter-Agency Task Force lifted the ban on non-essential outbound travel by Filipinos, allowing those with tourist visas to travel as long as they adhere to certain requirements such as signing a risk declaration and undergoing mandatory quarantine upon return.
