Palace urges Hong Kong not to single out Filipino OFWs in vaccine mandate

Malacaōang urged Hong Kong not to single out Filipino overseas foreign workers (OFWs) for mandatory COVID-19 vaccination.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque expressed hope that the requirement would apply equally to all foreign domestic workers, not just Filipinos.

Hong Kong is studying a plan that would require vaccinations only for domestic helpers, which Locsin said smacks of discrimination.
