Duterte approves national action plan vs. Covid-19

President Duterte approved the National Action Plan for combating Covid-19 presented by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on Wednesday.

The plan aims to boost government efforts to contain the virus, with IATF-EID serving as the policy-making body and the National Task Force (NTF) COVID-19 acting as the operational command.

The plan also includes measures to provide accurate information, prevent new cases, detect and isolate carriers, and mitigate social and economic impacts.
