DOH eyes sectors like pharmacists, midwives for vaccine rollout

The DOH plans to enlist help from various sectors, including pharmacists and midwives, to assist healthcare workers in administering COVID-19 vaccines.

Malacañang supports this proposal, citing the need for more vaccinators to inoculate up to 70 million Filipinos this year.

DOH Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje said they are studying the possibility of allowing pharmacists and midwives to administer vaccines under physician supervision.
