PAL updates arrival protocols for Omicron variant

Philippine Airlines (PAL) updated its arrival protocols on Monday, following the expansion of the 'Red' country list due to the detection of the Omicron variant.

For both green and yellow countries or regions, all inbound international travelers must now comply with the testing and quarantine protocols for 'yellow' list countries as per IATF regulations.

Fully vaccinated travelers from these areas need a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure, followed by third-day swabbing and self-monitoring until day 14 post-arrival.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated passengers will undergo facility-based quarantine until their results are released, then home quarantine for up to 14 days.
