3 weather systems bring rain, cloudy skies to PH

Three weather systems will bring rain and cloudy skies to various parts of the Philippines on Friday, November 22.

The northeast monsoon or amihan will affect extreme Northern Luzon with light rains in Batanes and Babuyan Islands, while gale warnings are raised for coastal areas of Batanes.

Caraga, Davao Region, and Southern Leyte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with a risk of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening due to the easterlies.

Visayas and Mindanao may see overcast skies and rains due to easterly influence, while Palawan experiences fair weather.

PAGASA advises residents in affected areas to bring umbrellas and be cautious of potential flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
