PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory for Metro Manila and 6 provinces

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds continued to affect parts of Metro Manila and six provinces in Luzon on Thursday morning.

According to a thunderstorm advisory issued by the state weather bureau PAGASA at 10:29 a.m., the affected areas include Metro Manila (Valenzuela, Caloocan, Navotas, Malabon), Bulacan, Quezon (General Nakar), Batangas (Tingloy, Batangas City, Lobo), Bataan, Pampanga, and Cavite.

Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Rizal, and Laguna are also expected to experience heavy rains within the next two to three hours.

Residents in these regions are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.
