PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of Luzon and Visayas

PAGASA reported cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over various parts of the country on Wednesday, continuing into Thursday.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterly winds, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

The northern and eastern sections of the Philippines will face moderate wind speeds from an east to northeast direction, while coastal waters may become rough in Extreme Northern Luzon.

Elsewhere in the country, light to moderate winds moving from a northeast to east direction are expected with slight to moderate coastal waters.
