PAGASA forecasts scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across various regions due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Soccsksargen, Quezon, Batangas, and Davao Occidental may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Parts of Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns that moderate to heavy rains in affected areas could result in flash floods or landslides, urging residents to exercise caution.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail across the archipelago, with no tropical cyclone monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
