PAGASA warns of rains, thunderstorms in most parts of PH

PAGASA reported Friday that the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and trough of a low pressure area (LPA), which has a 'low' chance of becoming a tropical depression within 24 hours, will continue to bring rains across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Soccsksargen, Bicol Region, Mindanao, and the rest of the Visayas.

PAGASA warned of potential flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in affected areas.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the Southwest Monsoon, while scattered rain showers are expected elsewhere due to localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are forecast across the archipelago.
