4 weather systems bring rain to most parts of PH

Four weather systems will continue to affect most parts of the Philippines on Sunday, bringing rainy conditions across several regions.

Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Aurora, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, and parts of Quezon province may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers due to the shear line, while Northern Luzon and parts of Central Luzon may see flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rains.

Visayas, Mimaropa (except Marinduque), Bicol Region (except Camarines Norte and Sur), Zamboanga del Norte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and may experience flash floods or landslides.

The rest of Mindanao and parts of Palawan will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the ITCZ, while Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region will see cloudy skies with rains from the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

No typhoons or low pressure areas are currently being monitored within and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
