PAGASA raises Yellow Rainfall Warning for Metro Manila and nearby provinces

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised a Yellow Rainfall Warning for Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, and Rizal on Saturday afternoon due to Severe Tropical Storm Wipha (formerly Crising) and the southwest monsoon.

Under this warning, these areas can expect 7.5 to 15 millimeters of rainfall within three hours, which may cause flooding in low-lying or flood-prone areas.

Light to moderate rain with occasional heavy showers is affecting Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Quezon, and Laguna over the next three hours.

Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions due to the weather warnings issued by PAGASA.
