Hot, humid weather with isolated rain showers across PH

Hot and humid weather will continue nationwide on Tuesday with isolated rain showers expected in most parts of the country due to easterly winds.

Weather specialist Rhea Torres advised the public to limit outdoor activities or carry umbrellas as temperatures are expected to be hot during midday, particularly in areas like Catarman, Northern Samar, and Dagupan City, Pangasinan, where heat indices could reach up to 43 degrees Celsius.

PAGASA reported no significant weather disturbances or low-pressure areas for the next 24 hours and did not raise any gale warnings in coastal regions but warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Forecasted temperature ranges across key cities include Metro Manila with highs of 25 to 34 degrees Celsius, Baguio City at 16 to 27 degrees Celsius, Cagayan De Oro City reaching up to 32 degrees Celsius, and Davao City expected to experience temperatures between 25 and 34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
