Fair weather in Metro Manila, scattered rain elsewhere

Metro Manila and most parts of the country will experience fair weather on Sunday, Nov. 24, with scattered rain showers expected in some areas due to easterlies.

Cloudy skies with moderate rain showers are anticipated in Batanes and Babuyan Islands, while Visayas will see mostly cloudy conditions without widespread rain showers.

In Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon, fair weather is expected until noon on Sunday, followed by overcast conditions with chances of rain showers in the afternoon and evening.

Caraga and Davao region may experience cloudy skies and scattered rains due to easterlies, while the rest of Mindanao will have fair weather conditions except for isolated rain showers in the afternoon and evening.

Weather forecaster Ana Clauren-Jorda noted that there are no new low pressure areas being monitored within or around the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

A gale warning was raised over coastal areas of Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to waves ranging from 3.1 to 4.5 meters.
