Padrigao scores 5 points in UST's UAAP debut win

Forthsky Padrigao made a successful debut for the University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament, scoring five points, six rebounds, and seven assists as UST defeated the University of the East, 70-55.

Padrigao, who transferred from Ateneo after facing academic issues and public scrutiny, expressed his determination to help build a winning culture at UST under coach Pido Jarencio.

The new player emphasized the importance of teamwork and preparation, noting that establishing a culture takes time but is crucial for UST's future success.

As one of the three team captains this season, Padrigao has been vocal in leading his teammates on the court.

Padrigao will face his former team Ateneo in an upcoming game on Wednesday but remains focused on helping the Tigers win.
