Pacquiao earns $17M-$18M in comeback draw vs Barrios

At age 46, Manny Pacquiao's comeback fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas on July 19 earned him an estimated $17 to $18 million.

Pacquiao received a purse of around $12 million and additional earnings from pay-per-view revenue, which could amount to up to $6 million once the figures are released.

Over 13,000 fans attended the MGM Grand Garden Arena to watch Pacquiao compete in his first fight in four years, demonstrating his continued popularity.

Despite facing a younger opponent, Pacquiao fought evenly for all twelve rounds before the judges declared it a majority draw with two scoring it tied and one giving it to Barrios.

Pacquiao had retired in 2021 after losing to Yordenis Ugas but returned to boxing, proving he can still compete at a high level.

Sean Gibbons, president of MP Promotions, confirmed that Pacquiao plans to fight again this year, likely in December.
