Romero eager for Pacquiao fight, Gibbons sees him as ideal opponent

Manny Pacquiao's recent draw against Mario Barrios has not deterred interest in his next fight, with WBA welterweight champion Rolando Romero expressing enthusiasm about facing the Filipino icon.

Romero recently stated that a bout with Pacquiao would be an easy way to get into the Hall of Fame and mentioned that he is agreeable to fighting Pacquiao either in November or December.

Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao's chief at MP Promotions, believes Romero is the right opponent given his style and age difference with Pacquiao, noting that arranging a fight with Romero is easier as they are both connected with Premier Boxing Champions.

Despite the interest from Romero and Gibbons, Pacquiao indicated he will take his time to discuss and finalize his next bout.
