Alcantara-Gonzales win men's doubles tennis gold

Francis Casey Alcantara and Ruben Gonzales won the gold medal in men's doubles tennis at the 2023 SEA Games on Saturday.

The Filipino duo defeated Indonesia's Nathan Barki and Christopher Rungkat with a score of 2-6, 7-5, 10-5.

This victory ensures that the Philippines has retained the title for three consecutive editions of the games.

Alcantara and Gonzales' win was part of a successful day for Team Philippines, which also won four gold medals in taekwondo and one in boxing.
