Over 6K health workers get COVID-19 booster shots

As of November 18, over 6,000 healthcare workers in the Philippines have received COVID-19 booster shots.

The National Capital Region has the highest number with 2,811 health care workers receiving boosters, followed by Cordillera Administrative Region and Region III.

DOH spokesperson Maria Rosario Vergeire noted that about 2% of those who received boosters experienced mild reactions such as pain at the injection site, fever, or headaches.
