DOH: Over 4M Filipinos vaccinated against COVID-19

As of May 25, a total of 4,495,375 Filipinos have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 1,029,061 fully vaccinated.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje reported that about 3.4 million individuals have received their first dose.

The government's testing czar Vince Dizon noted close to one million Filipinos are now fully vaccinated as of May 24.

Cabotaje highlighted that the country has reached 85% of its target for healthcare front-liners and urged promotion for senior citizens, those with comorbidities, and essential sector workers.

The Philippines ranks second in Southeast Asia in total doses administered since March 1st, behind Indonesia.
