Over 43K travelers hit by flight cancellations due to Paeng

Over 43,151 travelers were affected by flight cancellations and delays at Ninoy Aquino International Airport due to Tropical Storm Paeng on October 29.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) reported that 295 out of the 618 scheduled flights for Saturday were canceled.

NAIA closed its runways from 4 p.m. on Saturday until 10 p.m. due to strong winds, affecting many travelers' itineraries.

Passengers experienced multiple delays and cancellations throughout the day, with some flights being rescheduled to Sunday but still facing further disruptions.

The MIAA advised passengers to rebook their flights and offered hotel accommodations for those affected.
