Negros Occidental: Four returnees test positive for COVID-19

Four residents of Negros Occidental who returned from Cebu tested positive for COVID-19 on June 12.

Three locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and one overseas Filipino worker (OFW) were among those who arrived in the province between June 4 and June 7.

On June 9, a total of 307 Negrense LSIs and OFWs returned to the province via air or sea travel, with 84 arriving by PAL sweeper flight on Tuesday afternoon and another batch arriving earlier that day.

All returning residents underwent RT-PCR testing for COVID-19 at Bacolod-Silay Airport before being sent to their respective local government units.
