Over 15K vaccinated in Sulu during special days

At least 15,328 people were vaccinated during a three-day Special Vaccination Days (SVD) initiative in Sulu from May 11 to 13.

The vaccination drive reached 60.11% of the initial target of 25,500 residents set by the Ministry of Health in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH-BARMM).

Sulu Governor Abdusakur Tan emphasized the importance of vaccination as a requirement for travel and protection against COVID-19.

Tan also implemented an executive order enforcing a 'no vaccine card, no entry' policy to combat virus spread.
